January Events

It’s a New Year and Bloomington Salt Cave can help you set your intention for a healthy, mindful, abundant and beautiful You!  Start with a relaxing and rejuvenating 45 minute Halotherapy session. Many people say they feel like they just got a massage because they are so relaxed!  Our Salt Cave provides a stress free environment that promotes healing on a variety of levels while allowing the body to reassert its natural healthy balance.   Be pro-active in boosting your immune system by  deep cleaning the sinus cavities and respiratory tract.  Reduce the toxic load in a sterile, isolated treatment environment, free from exposure to any external challenges.  A series of Dry salt therapy treatments not only help to relieve and heal a current cold or flu episode, but increases resistance to new infections for  months in the future.

Our Events all feature Halotherapy as you engage in Yoga, Guided Meditation, and, Crystal Bowl sound Bath.  Space is limited!

All Events are $35 and need to be pre-paid by stopping in Salt Cave or call in to give your credit card number.  Events start at 6pm

January 14th, Annie will lead Restorative Yoga.  Restorative yoga balances a fast lifestyle and has an enormous capacity to heal physical and mental symptoms that are stress related.  Relax fully into a stretch so that tension can be slowly released.

January 15th, Jenny D. will guide us in Heart and Lung centered Yoga.  46 muscles are involved in the breathing process. The Diaphragm is a sheet of muscle separating thoracic and abdominal cavity and shares attachment to the pericardium (heart Sac), the hip flexor and the pelvic floor and is vital to breathing, heart rate, posture and digestion.

January 24th, Annie B.’s Guided Meditation with Reiki and Essential Oils will restore and delight  your senses.  Reiki is an alternative medicine developed in 1922  by  a Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui.  Annie is a Reiki Master and Teacher.  She uses a technique  through which qi (chi) universal life force is transferred through her palms to you in order to encourage emotional and physical healing.

January 25th, Philip C. will preform a 10  Crystal Bowl Sound Bath.   Singing Bowls have been used for thousands of years for spiritual, meditative and healing purposes.  The vibrational sound-waves of the quartz singing bowls attune the body at a cellular level clearing the mind for greater mental performance by effecting brainwaves.  This workshop will focus on stimulating the brain with binaural beats( simultaneously sending a marginally different sound frequency to each ear) said to have an effect on the 5 brainwaves: delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma.

Look forward to see you!  Next post for February…. look for couples specials!
